Job Purpose
The Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) / Group Head, Business Development is responsible for
leading the strategic marketing, business development, and customer engagement
initiatives of the finance house. The role is focused on driving sustainable growth across
asset financing, lending, and deposit products by expanding market reach within public
and private sectors and engaging multi-generational customer segments through
innovative, data-driven, and customer-centric strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
● Develop and execute integrated marketing and business development strategies
aligned with corporate objectives.
● Provide leadership in brand positioning, market expansion, and revenue growth
initiatives.
Business Development & Growth
● Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities across government,
corporate, SME, and retail segments.
● Build and manage strategic partnerships to enhance market presence and revenue
generation.
Marketing & Customer Engagement
● Lead product promotion, customer acquisition, and retention campaigns tailored to
diverse generational segments.
● Drive digital marketing initiatives, social media engagement, and omni-channel
outreach strategies.
● Oversee market research, customer insights, and competitive intelligence to inform
decision-making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
● Collaborate with product, credit, and operations teams to ensure seamless and
consistent customer experience.
● Support the development of customer-centric products and services based on
market insights.
Performance Management & Reporting
● Monitor and evaluate marketing ROI, lead conversion rates, and customer
retention metrics.
● Track campaign performance and recommend improvements to maximize impact
and efficiency.

Required Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related discipline
● MBA and/or CIM certification is an added advantage
● Minimum of 10 years’ experience in marketing and business development
● At least 5 years in a senior leadership role within the financial services sector
● Demonstrated experience in multi-segment marketing and public-private sector
engagement
● Strong understanding of financial products and customer behavior across different
generational groups
