About the Role
To support its growing portfolio, the business seeks a competent Project Manager to oversee and drive end-to-end project delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating and managing all phases of assigned projects from initial briefing and design coordination to procurement, fabrication, site installation, and final client hand-over. The role ensures that every project is executed within scope, budget and timelines while maintaining the company’s high quality and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, schedule and resource requirements in collaboration with internal stakeholders (design, manufacturing, procurement, installation) and external partners/contractors.
  • Develop and manage detailed project plans and schedules, monitor progress and identify deviations, risks or issues, and implement corrective actions.
  • Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams (designers, production staff, site technicians, subcontractors) to ensure effective execution.
  • Manage procurement and logistics of materials (wood, hardware, finishes) and ensure timely delivery to manufacturing and/or site.
  • Interface with clients, provide project updates, attend site meetings, and manage client expectations and change control.
  • Ensure quality control: verify that finished products/fabrications meet design specifications and standards; ensure smooth on-site installation and final inspection.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks; ensure health & safety compliance on-site (if applicable) and ensure adherence to company safety procedures.
  • Prepare and deliver project documentation: progress reports, change-orders, hand-over certificates, lessons learned.

Required Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, Wood/Timber Technology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in project management in manufacturing, fabrication, construction or interior fit-out environment preferably with exposure to timber/wood products or joinery.
  • Strong organisational, planning and scheduling skills; familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
  • Budgeting and cost-control experience.
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate vendors/sub-contractors and manage multiple concurrent projects.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing or fabrication processes (especially timber/wood joinery) and site installation practices is a strong plus.
  • PMP or other recognised project-management certification would be advantageous.
